    you should passed the lateral entry engg test LEET in your particular field, and then according to your ranking you get admission in the engg college.

    Hi Akash, for your query I would say that in some universities lateral entry test is given to the diploma students to study B.Tech after completing their diploma. Mechanical lateral entry exam is conducted for the mechanical engineering diploma holders for getting admission to the second year Mechanical Engineering Course .For the selection of the candidates for the Lateral Entry admission the candidates should have passed Diploma with 60% marks. The final year students can also apply for the test but they have to complete their course by the time of counseling.
