I am doing electrical engineering from a private institution and I got 86% in the 1st year. Should I change my college?

    I would suggest you to continue with the same institute, as you have scored pretty well in the first year and if you work hard, you can raise your marks and can get a better job during your campus placements. On the second hand, if you change you will be facing typical questions during your placements.

    It is not advisable to change the college midcourse, because it is very time consuming and will affect your studies adversely. And, it has no other serious benefits.
