I am doing job in IT company for 9 months .I want to pursue MBA.Does this experience will be helpful. Help me in detail

I have completed my B.tech(CS) in May 2013 and doing job in IT company for 9 months . My academic percentage is 68 . How many years should I work so that it can be helpful for me before doing MBA . Which stream would be helpful for me . Thanks in advance
