Yes, if you are pursuing or have completed your M.Com from IGNOU, you are eligible to apply for B.Ed, especially in subjects related to commerce. Lovely Professional University (LPU) accepts postgraduate qualifications like M.Com for B.Ed admission, provided you meet the eligibility criteria set by NCTE, which usually includes a minimum percentage in your postgraduation. LPU's B.Ed program offers specialization options, modern teaching methods, and strong school tie-ups for internships and practical exposure. It's a great option if you wish to build a teaching career in the commerce stream with strong academic support and placement gui

Yes, you can do B.Ed after M.Com from IGNOU. LPU allows students from IGNOU or any recognized university to apply for B.Ed if they meet the eligibility. Since you have done post-graduation in Commerce, you can choose Commerce as your teaching subject during B.Ed. LPU is a good choice for B.Ed because it gives both theory and practical exposure. The faculty is supportive and helps you prepare well for teaching careers. Also, you get regular school internships and workshops. LPU accepts students with minimum 50% in post-graduation. The admission process is simple, and you can apply online. So yes, after M.Com from IGNOU, you can definite

Yes, you can pursue a B.Ed after completing your M.Com from IGNOU, as it is a recognized university. To apply for a B.Ed in one particular subject, you must have studied that subject at the graduate or postgraduate level. For example, if you wish to teach commerce, your M.Com qualification makes you eligible. Additionally, most universities require at least 50% marks in your qualifying degree and may also conduct an entrance exam. Teaching experience or meeting specific state or university norms may also be required, depending on the institution and the mode (regular or distance) of B.Ed.

Yes, you will be getting a seat on the basis of either your M.Com marks or your LPU-NEST score (if you opt for it). It'll depend on your marks that you'll get the desired seat but perform better so that you can score well and get a good scholarship as well.

Dear Charvi, as per the norms of UGC, you cannot pursue 2 regular courses at the same time. However, you can pursue two distance courses or a combination of regular as well as distance mode at a time.
I hope this would suffice. All the best and God Bless You.
  • Dear Student,
You can do only regular B.Ed from here if you are already doing M.Com through distance education. You can do two degrees at the same time but you can't do two regular degrees from the same university at the same time. Students enrolled in a regular degree course are allowed to pursue an additional degree simultaneously under open or distance education mode from the same or different university.
