I am doing my Diploma in mechanical. Can I apply for IIT or NIT via JEE Mains or Advanced?

No, if you are doing diploma in mechanical engineering you cannot apply for IIT or NIT because it has stopped taking any lateral entry admission and if you have done your 12th then you can surely apply for the JEE mains advanced.

Yes, you can apply as I have mentioned in the previous comment also if you have done your 12th then you can surely apply for J and J image because for JEE & JEE Advanced, you need to be at least 12th pass, I thought as you are doing Diploma, you must have been 10th passed that's why I said so.
