I am eligible to write GATE if I complete MSC(CS) from Sikkim Manipal in distance mode?

I am eligible to write GATE /M.Tech after completing MSC (CS) from SMU distance mode? There is lateral entry to 3rd Sem provision for this, like someone is 3 yr Grad with 2 yr diplma from NIIT/APTECH. I have this eligibility. But if I complte like this whether I am eligible for M.Tech or write GATE?

Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications etc. are eligible write GATE examination. They don't specify anything about mode of completion of Master's in the GATE brochure, so as long as you are getting a master's degree from above mentioned progr
