I am enrolling for B.Tech in CSE in Amity, Noida and have 84% in 12th. Yet, I am asked to give Amity JEE in Noida on 13th June. Why?

It's their procedure of taking admission but you need not worry, you will clear it for sure.

Because this is an admission procedure, you have to clear the entrance exam, without entrance exam you cannot get admission.
