I am expecting 280 marks in UPSEE and 58 in JEE. Can I get any top private or government college for engineering?

The government college will depend on the place and situations but if talking about the private college, you can definitely get into one easily since the number of private engineering college seats is way more than the number of students so they will likely be welcoming you. Well, to get more information, you must visit the college and talk to the management there. They will give you the proper detail. I myself is studying in a private college. From my personal experience, let me tell you that, I visited like 9-10 colleges in and outside my city and each of those colleges wanted me to take admission there. Also, just in case if you are thinking, let me tell you that I am not a special student. I am an average student in terms of marks. Colleges in India just want to fill their seats as much as they can. Failing to do so they may have to shut down a particular branch if no admission happens in that branch. So, they try to fill as many seats as they can.
