If you belong to the General AI quota, yes, you can easily get admission to the BTech in CSE course with a JEE Advanced cutoff rank of 100. The last round of IIT Delhi CSE cutoff ranged between 116 and 126 over three years for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Therefore, a cutoff rank of 100 is considered to be a safe score for securing a seat at IIT Delhi for CSE. Refer to the table below to view the last round of IIT Delhi CSE cutoff 2025 across different categories.

CategoryCSE Cutoff 2025 (Last Round Closing Rank)
    General126
    OBC91

    ST26

IIT Delhi JEE Advanced 2025 cut off will be based on the JEE Advanced scores. The cutoff will be released on the basis of categories for All India quota candidates. For the General AI category candidates, the last round cutoff rank for CSE in 2024 was 116 int the last round. Therefore, for the General AI category candidates, it was possible to get admission to CSE branch at 100 rank in 2024. In 2023 and 2022, the cutoff ranks to get admission into 118 and 102. Looking at the previous few years cutoff ranks, there is a high possibility of getting admission to the college at 100 rank in JEE Advanced.

No, candidates can not raise objections in JEE Adv result. The facility to raise objection is provided only in the answer key. It is clearly mentioned in the IIT JEE advanced 2026 information brochure that any request to re-evaluate in result will not be entertained under any circumstances.

The number of questions in each subjects are generally not same, but the total number of questions mostly ranges from 17 to 18 across all three subjects in both Paper 1 and 2. The number of questions will also be different for each type (MCQ, Matching, Single/Multi correct) within the subjects in paper.

No, same questions never get repeated in IIT JEE exam. However, questions with similar concepts can find places in the exam. The question paper of JEE Advanced is prepared considering the syllabus and exam pattern.

You will not be eligible for admission as preparatory ranks are not considered under round 1. Since you have already qualified to appear for JEE (Advanced), all you need to do is meet the second criterion and apply for round 2, which will be only conducted if seats from round 1 remain vacant.

Yes, you can still get admission in Round 2 if you meet eligibility criteria to appear in JEE (Advanced) and have a valid JEE (Mains) rank. Also, you must have scored 60% or above in class 12th. For SC/ST/PwD category students, 55% or above is required.
