    Hello Edwin, It's indeed great to hear from you that you are interested in doing mechanical engineering. These days except in Tamil Nadu, a student has to appear for multiple entrance exams to qualify for different sets of colleges. Each state conduct it's own entrance exam for colleges within the state. Then NTA conducts JEE Mains and JEE Advanced for admission into NIT & IIT. In addition almost all deemed universities conduct their own entrance exams. Hence you need to decide where you want to go and then start preparing for respective entrance exams. Best wishes to you.
