I am final year student of BSc. and i want to pursue a master in english literature so i want to know whether i am eligible for this course
Please provide me a really satisfying answer.i am really very interested to pursue a masters in english and i had english as first language only in first year and second year of bachelors degree bt i dont have english as subject in final year

If you dont have english as optional subject, i think it will be difficult to get admission in masters.still i will advise you to download the handbook and prospectus of ignou from www.ignou.ac.in and check for the eligibility conditions.you can also clearify from the prospects of Panjab University

As per my knowledge you are eligible for this. students generally changes their subjects in master's degree. As you said you are very much interested in English literature, so you should go for it. There are many Universities that provide Master's degree courses in English literature.
