I am from Andhra Pradesh and my 12th score is 90%. Should I join any engineering college or drop a year for JEE?
I have got 50 marks in JEE Mains this year.

If you are really confident that you are going to beat JEE Mains the coming year, droping this year is a very good choice.

Try applying for colleges, fill in all the colleges with good ranking, you have the opportunity, maybe you can get in a good college you never expected, if the results are not satisfactory then take a drop.
The choice is yours.
