Yes, an arts background student with economics can opt  in Psychology. While psychology is often associated with Science students, many universities welcome students from arts and humanities backgrounds, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

In Psychology, you'll typically need to have:

    1. Passed 10+2 in any stream (arts, science, or commerce)

    2. Secured a minimum aggregate percentage (usually 50-60%)

    3. Had psychology or a related subject (like sociology, anthropology, or philosophy) in your 10+2 curriculum (though not always mandatory)

Hi, I hope you are doing fine.

I think you are preparing for cuet 2025.

Candidates with any educational background can pursue Bsc psychology.

    Here is the combination:

    • Any language from list A
    • Any two subjects from list B1
    • Or anyone subject from either list B1 or B2.

    Example for better understanding:

    • List A1 language - English
    • List B1 - political Science and Economics
    • List B2- mass media and physical education

Best of luck for CUET 2025
