I am from B'lore, have scored a 57 percentile in MAT and don't want to waste a year. Can i get into a decent b-school in here?

As a student of MAPS, which is backed by two of the largest educational companies - Educomp, India and Raffles, Singapore; I would suggest you try for their Bangalore campus one. Though I must admit that you have quite a low percentile in MAT, but the good thing is that MAPS considers not on

You have scored less comparatively then I suggest that if you do not want to spend another year in preparation then accept any college you are able to get admission in Bangalore and then try to excel in your education there. You might not be a position to choose.
