I am from Dehradun , in 12th class. I want to do engineering from a REPUTED collage , but near dun, Which collage will be suitable for me ?

I want a collage which have good placement with good salary, I have interest in software engineering. n I also want to know that gov collage is more better than private? why?

    U have IIT Roorkee, Coer Roorkee, DIT is somewhat okish. if i r ready to migrate delhi or nearby then JAYPEE and Thapar is also very good.
