I am from general category. My JEE Mains rank is 263848. Should I drop 1 year or not?

Rishabh dropping an year won't be a good idea. there is no surety that next year you would get a better rank. Try for admission in some good private universities that are imparting quality education to the students around the world. They offer you admission on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria. Most of them are a great recruitment hub for companies these days. Check the websites of some good universities or call on their toll free no.s for more details. Good luck.
