Hello Shriram, On the web page of Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, I could not obtain any information about lateral admission for any branch of engineering in the college. The webpage speaks of admission only to the first year of Engineering which I know you are not interested. However, there is information available about email or the phone numbers of the college which will be useful to you in finding out information in detail. Information which I could obtain from different sources indicates that the college having been granted autonomous status conducts its own entrance exam 2 admit students in lateral mode directly into the second year of engineering in all the branches offered by the college. So I feel you should use this link to know about the telephone numbers and ask directly to the college your query of the lateral admission process and I am sure they will guide you correctly.
