I am from Hyderabad. Is there any chance that I can get a seat in any of the NITs in chemical engineering through OS quota?

    Yes, some NITs have their cutoff ranks above 55000 for some of courses. My rank was also more than 55k. You can compare your rank with the previous year's category wise cutoff's ranks at:

    Check for the HOMESTATE NIT first. Also, this year's 1 round counselling ranks at:
