    An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) in India is a person specifically licensed or authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India, to certify the airworthiness (fit to fly) of an aircraft and its systems. All civil aircraft are required to be certified airworthy before each flight by a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
    Eligibility: - The applicant must have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or university or its equivalent. He should be physically fit.
