As per the changes in Eligibility Criteria of JEE Main Exam 2018, there will be no weightage of 12th marks in JEE Main Exam.
The 12th class marks will be considered for the JEE Mains Counselling. According the latest changes, the minimum marks requires in 12th class for JEE Mains Counselling is 75%.
So, yes you can appear for JEE Mains Exam, but will not be eligible to get admission in IITs.
