I am from Tripura, general category. How much do I need to get in LPU NEST to get a scholarship for B.Tech? Is LPU worth giving a shot?

    Dear Minakshi,
    If you are really passionate towards your career and want great opportunities, then LPU is the right place for you. The Scholarships on basis of LPU NEST are 35, 25 and 20% for all the engineering trades. You must write LPU NEST. The marks for scholarships depend upon the overall test attendance and performance of all students. So, the scores may differ year on year basis. Also note if your 12th marks are above 90% you don't need to write LPU NEST or JEE Mains. Moreover the top scholarship will also be given if your 10th score is above 90%.     As per the eligibility, Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. Being LPU alumni, I would recommend LPU for B.Tech courses. LPU is known for engineering courses. LPU provides quality education, and has provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups, etc. Moreover, 800+ companies that recruit from IITs and NITs also recruit from LPU. Candidates must visit official website, nest.lpu.in and log in by entering Email ID/ Mobile Number/ Application Number and Password and clicking on Log in. Click on LPUNEST slot booking option, available slots will be displayed on screen. Only candidates who have submitted application and fee payment can do slot booking. Select preferred centre, city, date and time for exam, and save preferences. Reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis. LPU NEST slot booking must be done at least 3 days before date of exam.

For a candidate who fails to complete Slot Booking before specified deadline, university books a slot for that candidate. Candidates must specify 5 choices of test centres in application form. LPU may book any of preferred slots for the candidate, depending on availability. In case none of the preferred slots of the candidate is available, another slot may be allotted by the university.
