i am gavi , can i study in usa university without ielts or tofal

Hi, The medium of education in US universities is English, so all the students whose first or native language is not English have to take either TOEFL or IELTS to prove their English proficiency. Every university has its own TOEFL or IELTS requirement. Both IELTS and TOEFL has 4 section namely: *Reading. *Writing. *Speaking. *Listening. TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) is of 120 marks, and all the good universities requires 80-90 plus score. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is of 9 bands, and all the good universities requires 6.5-7 bands plus score. I hope this answers your query. Hi Gavi, Normally to study in USA you need to give IELTS or TOEFL. And it is not advice able to go for an institute where TOEFL is not mandatory. But somehow there are few options like- If you have studied in an English speaking school for a major qualification, you may contact each university to request a 'waiver' from the TOEFL. You should be aware that there is no guarantee that the university will waive this requirement. But if you have not taken IELTS or TOEFL there is one more option where you need to register for IELP (Intensive English Language Program) along with your regular course. However there are very few Institutes offering you this option. Few of them are mentioned below – State University of New York University of Dayton University of Texas California State University.
