I am getting 158 marks after verifying JEE Mains key. Do I stand any chance in NITs?

With these marks, you can get following NITs: Durgapur, Rourkela, Manipur, Silchar, Nagaland, Agartala.

It depends on your category but 158 is a good score for admission in NIT. You have 80% possibilities to get into any NIT.

If you get a good rank in Mains, you can able to get in NIT also.

Yes, you can get into any NIT easily if you belong to SC/ST background. But, if you are from general category, then you may not get any NIT but you can get any other good college.

Its totally depends on your category. If you are in ST or SC category, then you will get any good NIT. Otherwise, there is no chance to get a good NIT.
