I am getting 4086 rank in srm and 15500 rank in vitee, what should I go for CS in srm or ECE in vitee, and work hard to upgrade my branch.

You should go for SRM as the curriculum and the faculty there is good. ECE at VITEE is also a good option depends totally on your interest. However, you should remember that upgrading your branch is a tough thing. So, I would recommend SRM.

SRMIST has a great placement record in the past years. CS in SRM is well-equipped with world-class labs and technically sound faculty members. I guess CSE will be a better option for the current situation as the exposure which you get in SRM will be pretty useful rather than any other branch.

ECE in VIT is good option as well as CS in SRM. VIT has better ranking. Try out VIT entrance once again I believe you may get better results.
So choose wisely.

It totally depends upon your interest. I will not be the one just telling you that CS is good than EC. However, since I am the perfect person now that can answer this question without being favoring any one. I would prefer CS from SRM than ECE from VIT. It is because what I have seen in my college career that ECE is more kind of core related course. If you are really interested in electronics and want to work for giants like Intel, Qualcomm etc. Then ECE can be a wise option. But if you have a motive and passion for coding and want to join any software Engineering company then I would say prefer CS. It is good everywhere that EC people
