I am getting CS in NITs, but I am confused if I should take a drop to get an IIT or go for NIT?

If the candidates preparing for IIT Hyderabad get around 10000 rank in JEE Advanced but not getting selection for the CSE course, however, for the same rank, they are getting top NITs for the CSE course, then they should opt for top NITs.
