I am getting ECE in GNDU Amritsar and CSE in LPU. What should I choose?

Dear Student, GNDU and LPU are renowned public and private Indian educational institutes with strong academic rankings. In terms of the programme offered, I'm not aware with GNDU's ECE programme, but as an LPU postgraduate, I can say that both ECE and CSE at LPU are outstanding, with excellent placements. The highest package available is 64 LPA, which is offered by CSE. Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and a few others are among the companies where they work. LPU also offers the best package for the ECE programme. All of the professors are really helpful in all areas, academic and otherwise. My mentor was really helpful in my research during my programme, and I was able to publish two international conference articles in IEEE-Explore. Many students have had research papers and patents published in international publications and conferences. LPU has been regarded among the best in India in a number of fields. I think CSE in LPU would be better. I don't know much about GNDU, but many of my friends are in LPU, Lovely Professional University and even I am pursuing my graduation from LPU only. LPU, in terms of faculty, curriculum, campus life, academics and placement, is great. The faculty for engineering is remarkable plus the curriculum is designed in such a way that you get to acquire both practical and theoretical knowledge. The professors do not just teach you; they prepare you for the real jobs out there. And if you ask me about the placements, LPU is visited by some of the biggest brands during the placement drives. The pay packages offered are impressive and even the stipends offered are quite good for the internship. So, my recommendation is purely based on my personal experience, if you are considering LPU, go for it, you won't regret your decision. THANK YOU!

CSE has the highest package available, which is 42 LPA. Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and others are a handful of the companies in which they are located. LPU's the highest package for the ECE programme is 31 LPA, with an average package of 5.1 LPA. BOSCH, Microsoft, Code Nation, Adobe, and others are just a handful of the companies that hire EEE/ECE students. All of the professors have extensive experience in their fields. All of the faculty members have advanced degrees from IITs, NITs, and top-tier universities around the world. All of the faculty members are really helpful in all areas, whether academic or otherwise. During my programme, my mentor was really helpful in my research, and I was able to publish two international conference papers in IEEE-Explore. Many students have been published in international journals and conferences with research papers and patents. In many of its disciplines, LPU has been ranked among the best in India by the NIRF rating 2021. LPU is ranked 66th in India in the Engineering category. I hope this information is helpful. As LPU alumni, let me share my experience, The CSE course of LPU has been ranked 9th in computer Science, amongst top universities of India by Times Higher Education. As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch, the knowledge that I gained while my course duration has helped me a lot in shaping my career. Recently in the Amazon placement drive, 15-16 students got a package in the range of 11-16 Lacs and it's a good package, Tanya Arora she got 42 LPA from Microsoft. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at the package of 3.5-34.5 Lacs. There will be many placement drives conducted by Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Koni Labs, Hitachi, Honda and many more. It depends on how you perform. Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus.

My guide during my programme helped me a lot in my research work and I published 2 International Conference Papers in IEEE-Explore. Many students have published research papers and patents in International Journal and Conferences. LPU has been ranked among the top institutions in India for many of its disciplines by NIRF ranking 2021. LPU is 66th in the Engineering category across India.
