I am getting more jobs(fresher)for PL/SQL from various job portals.What actually I have to in pl/sql job

I have completed my Bsc(IT) in 2011.I am getting more jobs(fresher) for PL/SQL from various job portals. I have PL/SQL basic knowledge as I had as a subject in my college also, ,what actually I have to do in PL/SQL job? What is further scope for this kind of job?Will it be a good base for me.
