I am going to complete my intermediate. I am good at mathematics. Which B.Tech is better for me to choose?

Hi,
All the branches in B.Tech are good, provided you choose the one which matches your interest, passion and aptitude. Because it is human nature to excel I the area which you are passionate about. You must also along your passion with your aspirations. As per your question you are good in mathematics, this gives you a great head start in mathematical ability as well as analytical mindset. If you are eligible, almost all the branches have mathematics and related subjects in varying levels. The equally pertinent question is: from where to pursue the programme!

You are saying that you are good at mathematics. In this case why go for engineering? As per the reports of HRD ministry, almost 50% fresh engineering graduates could not be placed in job. I feel that you must use your love for mathematics by going into study of mathematics up to the doctorate level and then you can take up job in an university or research establishment like TIFR etc. , where you would enjoy the job also.
