I am going to pursue BCS and wish to do an MBA after that, but have heard that both are entirely different fields, is it really so?

Wanted to know that will any knowledge that i gain in my BCS be useful in MBA in any way? and also wanted to know regarding which field in MBA will suit me such that my BCS knowledge could be somehow utilised?
