I am going to write February MAT but it says application ends on February 28. What if my results didn't come soon?

Asked about SSN School of Management - Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Is there any way to update my score later? I am in B.Com honours final year.

    Dear Ms. Malini,
MAT results will come by Feb 28. Even if they do not come, apply with MAT hall ticket number. You can apply to our programme and later update the admission test score. You can also appear for any number of admission tests and keep us updating the scores till you get a call for GD/PI. You will get a call for GD/PI only if your scores are above the cut-off as explained by Ms. Srikrupa. Wishing you the best.

    Hi,
Do not worry! You can apply now itself with your MAT hall ticket number and you can mail the college with your scores once the results have been announced. There will be several rounds of GD-PI that will be conducted so you will be called if you meet the eligibility criteria. The college expects 80 percentile for MAT and 60 percentile for CAT. For more details you can download the application form from the college website and refer pages 3 and 4. You can also mail at mba.admissions@ssn.edu.in for admission related queries. Best of luck!

No, MAT scores are not compulsory for admissions to the PGDM course at ICBM-SBE, because the college also considers several other entrance exam scores for admissions to the PGDM course. The names of the accepted entrance exams are-  CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ MAT/ GMAT/ State level entrance test. Thus, applicants with valid scores in MAT can get admission to the PGDM course. However, it is not compulsory.

Yes, it is possible to get an MBA seat at AURO University with a valid MAT score. The university accepts various national and state-level entrance tests for admission to the MBA programme. These exams are GCET, GMAT, CAT, CMAT and XAT. Apart from entrance test scores, students are required to submit an SOP and participate in GDPI round.

If you make an error in the educational qualifications section of the MAT form, you can typically make amends during the official correction period offered by AIMA. The correction period is open for a short time after the submission of the application. You can log in with your MAT account and edit the form, but not every field is editable, so check before you submit. If the correction period has closed, then you can contact AIMA support, but changes will not be guaranteed. It is always a good idea to save a copy of your original form for your reference.

The admission deadline for candidates interested in GITAM MBA admissions through the MAT exam is 15 - 22 September 2025. These dates are the last registration dates for the MAT PBT/CBT entrance exams. These dates are very close at this point of time. Hence, candidates who wish to apply for MBA admissions at GITAM are advised to register as soon as possible.

The admission process for both the MBA (General) and MBA (Dual-Specialisation) courses is the same. Admission to the MIT-WPU MBA course is entrance-based. Candidates need to appear in either CAT/XAT/NMAT/MAT/GMAT/MAH CET/PERA CET entrance exam and qualify for any one exam with a valid score. The final selection is based on the performance of candidates in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds, followed by other selection rounds.
