I am HEMANT mechanical engineering final year student. How can i change my career prospects from engineering to investment banking.

I want to persue my career in investment banking(analyst). But I can't go for MBA right now as I have planned it after gaining some work experience. Please tell possible ways to get in to investment banking, would certificate courses in finance going to help in getting job?
