Hi Sandy, Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering, I would say that it is one of the most challenging fields of engineering with a wide scope for growth. The basic eligibility is +2 or equivalent, with PCM and must have a fair percentage of marks in the aggregate. One must also pass the qualifying exam IIT-JEE. It would be advisable to go for DGCA approved institute. Jobs lies with various airlines like Air India, Indian Airlines, Helicopter Corporation of India and flying clubs, private and government owned air service and aircraft manufacturers like the Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.
