    Hi,
It really depends on your interests. If you like solving problems with technology, this is the best time to work in Nanotechnology. The science is mature enough that it can be applied to problems in many different fields, but it's young enough that there is still a plethora of work to do. If you like entrepreneurship, there are still opportunities to start companies and the companies have a much better chance of succeeding than they did 10 years ago. However, if you are interested in pure science and want to do fundamental work, that time is behind us.

Education in the field of nanotechnology is offered at postgraduate level and doctorate level. No institution in India offers Bachelor courses in nanotechnology.
Candidates holding B.Tech degree in Material science, Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, Biotechnology, Electronics and computer Science or B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Life Sciences can apply for the postgraduate courses in nanotechnology.
Candidates seeking for undergraduate courses in nanotechnology are required to clear the intermediate examination in science stream (PCM/PCB) (Medical Courses after class 12th).
