hi Kira I suggest you to continue your study until unless any critical problem . sure you can continue your b.tech/bE after a year gap becoz the total time to pass the engg in most of the universities is 8 yeears.mbut it effects on your carrier Most of the companies hesitate to hire the students wo have a engg degree of 5 years or more. so please continue your study but the last decision is yours. bst of luck

Why do you want to take a drop after the completion of first year.It is not a good sign that you are taking a drop after 1st year.continue your education , if you want take a drop then do take for the preparation of our masters
Kindly my sincere advice to you that continue your education and dont think about the drop
    All the best
