Hello Dhaval,
If you are really interested in research then you must join DRDO. It recruits engineers of almost every branch every year. Look for their announcement and apply. Once you get in DRDO, its research everywhere.

Of course, yes. But for doing research, you need to work, unless you have funds at your disposal. Hence, it is my suggestion. Also, DRDO allows you to do PG at their expense.
