i am in b.e. mechanical last year.just confused with further studies.i decided for M.E,but now i am confused how to prepare for GATE?

i will prefer not to join any course if not that much necessary nor i can take a year drop. is it possible to clear GATE by preparing side by side my last year of bachelors.....
