Yes, you can give the NDA exam even if you choose Humanities in class 11th. The eligibility criteria for the NDA exam primarily focus on meeting educational qualifications and age limits. For NDA, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. However, if you opt for Humanities, you would only be eligible to join the Indian Army, as it does not require Physics and Mathematics.

    NDA Syllabus comprises subjects like:-

    1. Mathematics
    2. English
    3. General Knowledge
    4. Physics
    5. Chemistry
    6. Biology
    7. History
    8. Geography
    9. Current Affairs.

As you can see that maths, physics, chemistry and biology have significant place in the exam. So, I would advise to go for Science stream. However, you are eligible for the exam regardless of your academic background.
