I am in class 12th, I want to get admission to diploma in Polytechnic college. Please advise me.

Polytechnic is a Diploma or vocational course in which an institute focuses on delivering technical education. Generally, Polytechnic courses are a three year programme after completion of which candidates obtain a Certificate. Polytechnic courses are offered in various engineering fields such as civil, mechanical, electrical, computer Science, electronics and communication, etc. To get admission in Polytechnic course, you must have passed class 10th or 12th with minimum 40% marks in the qualifying examination. However, the eligibility criteria may vary from institute to institute and state to state. Some states conduct entrance exams for Polytechnic admission, such as Andhra Pradesh POLYCET, JEXPO/VOLCET, DET Haryana, etc. Some states offer admission on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in class 10th or 12th, such as Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Kerala, etc. Some institutes also offer direct admission in Polytechnic courses without any entrance exam or merit list. So try to score good marks in 12th board exams and you are good to go.
