Follow your heart, which will only take you to the right destination. Do not do something to please someone. I am saying this, because I don't understand why did you get into B.Tech? If you want to be an actor? Anyways, once you become successful, people will value you truly automatically, so don't bother, hard work and perseverance will surely pay. You can do a Diploma in acting from Mumbai, it is a dreamland for the people to pursue acting, and I suggest this institute. http://www.itaspa.in/acting.html.

Congrats, you should not take risk with your career. And with job, you can also do films, but I think you should take the job, otherwise your degree is worthless.
