No
Rather you can join 2nd Year of Engineering as the process of Lateral Entry in any State based Engineering college

Sorry, ma'am.
I need to tell you one thing, a Diploma student can appear for JEE. Also, one can join accordingly with proper rank!
But this in case is harder.
