Mechanical Engineering is evergreen branch of Engineering. Different branches have thier lows & highs but in last 6 decades charm of Mechanical branch has remain high. CSE is now days a prime branch because of highest job opportunities since late 90s. Slowly charm of branch is fading because of outcry against outsourcing in West. Job opportunities in CSE are tied to Western Economy and poltical pressures. With availability of large pool of CS resources in market, average salaries have gone down. Also IT industry requires only junior resource to compete in low rate competition. However availability of number of jobs are still highest

    Dear Darshil,
Both trade has good scope depends upon your interest. If your Mathematics is good so you can opt for Computer Science. If you love to work with Machines and enjoy that work than you can opt for Mechanical Engineering.

Comparing these two fields is like to choose between apple and oranges. Both have their own value. Mechanical Engineering is one of the primitive branches of Engineering and have wide application in other engineering fields, and therefore, have remained always in demand and will continue to be in the future and same is the case with CSE. So go for the one that you find interesting. If you choose CSE, I would say to go for universities like UPES, UTM which have specialized CSE course and that too in collaboration with tech giant IBM. There you will get really good industrial exposure and placement opportunities. Good luck.:)

Hi.

While practicing the Maharashtra HSC 12th previous years' question papers is an excellent study strategy, relying solely on past papers is generally not sufficient to guarantee clearing the board exam with good marks.

Why Previous Years' Papers are Not Enough on Their Own
  • Syllabus Coverage: Previous papers primarily test a sampling of the syllabus from past years. New exams may include different topics or ask questions in formats not seen in older papers. Relying only on them leaves gaps in your subject knowledge.
