I am interested in doing B.Des in multimedia from Lovely Professional University? What are the possibilities in this course?

Hi, I would like to recommend LPU as one of the best places in India for Multimedia, Graphics, and Gaming. The faculty members are from the industry like red chilies Studios, Prime focus studios and they have experience of more than 15 years. The multimedia department has a separate block and has well-equipped labs with dell workstations to handle high-end software like adobe after effects, Unity Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Nuke, Fusion, Z brush, photoshop, etc. Even the department has good quality of resources like Black magic cinemas cameras, canon cameras, trolly, jib, and well-equipped special VFX studio with permanent Chroma backgrounds. Placements are also great. This year as well students got placed in companies like Amazon, rockstar games, Kony India, Xentrix studios, Lolly POP Design Studio, etc. With average packages of 5 Lacs per annum and maximum packages are 8 to 10 Lacs. As per my experience it depends on your showreel and skills. There are many courses of animation in india and few places are doing really great. I have done my Masters from lovely professional university LPU provides 6 Degrees in Bachelors in field of Multimedia, Graphics and Gaming. B.Sc. ( Multimedia) 3 yearsB.Sc. ( Gaming) 3 yearsB.Sc. (Multimedia). - 2Years first of all, There is separate Department Called Multimedia which comes under school of design III. This Department has well-equipped labs with high end workstations and it has gaming studios also where students can play and test the games on play station, PC and x box platform. Multimedia students of LPU has campus placements in companies like Amazon ( as 3d Artist), Rockstar games, Kony India, xentrix studio, Dq entertainment, Prime focus, Green gold animation and so on with maximum packages of 8 Lacs per annum and average packages are 5 Lacs per annum. After b. design in multimedia and graphics and even Masters degrees also. Faculty members are well experienced and specialised and everyone from industry having More than 8 to 10 years of experience in their respective field. Everyone is so helpful and good mentors. LPU organizes four sponsored and three intra-university fashion shows. Moreover, there are hundreds of events inside the campus to showcase your talent. From the career prospective, you need to work hard to build your CV and get hands-on experience. Moreover, there are few companies from design but not plenty. So three things may happen, either you get selected in any design related corporate or you are subjected to sit for the placement drive for a company other than your stream or you can apply to any outsource internship of off campus placement. From the academic perspective, LPU is not remarkable but it is good. Though, the exposure is unbeatable. Feel free to ask anything else.
