I am interested in fashion designing. My parents are saying to do B.Com (for business idea) first. What should I do?

I would suggest you to go for the course you are interested in.
Fashion designing and B.com are both different in every aspect.
Neither fashion designing degree or a B.Com degree would assure you with the proper business idea. If you are interested to go for some sort of business, analyse the market on your terms first.

First question how B.com instead of your area of interest will give you business idea? For business idea any graduation can't assure you that but your dreams, likings or could say passion can do so. I would suggest convince them about your dreams and take decision. -

Do go for fashion designing course now, get some work experience and then go for management course of your choice to gain better business ideas.
