FMS is basically known for marketing.But yes people geninely interested in Finance take up finance as well.I am not sure if all the companies which go to IIMs go to FMS but name any company in marketing it's there.If you are a fresher then it will be an add on for you.

see..finance as a specialisation is the highest paying one. FMS has good placements on this side with avendus paying something around 26lpa. i guess 31 percent of the batch has been placed in finance domain
