    For software engineering, computer Science engineering is the best choice for you as it will give you enough and sufficient knowledge about computers and their applications.

    The branch I would suggest for B.Tech is CSE and the college for this would be UEM-Jaipur.

    Hello Karthik,
    To be able to become a software engineer, you need to have PCM (physics, chemistry and mathematics) combination in your 12th standard. After your 12th board examinations are over, you need to appear for various entrance examinations.
    I would suggest you to appear for JEE Mains and Advanced. These two entrance examinations provide admissions to IITs/ NITs and other government colleges, which are cost-effective.
    I would also suggest you to appear for individual state examinations (OJEE in Odisha, EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, COMEDK in Karnataka, etc.). These exams also guarantee you good colleges and serve as a backup
