    Dear friend,
You can do BS or BS - MS Dual degree or B.Sc from IITs, NITs, IIITs or any reputed university or college. If you want to study abroad, then you can prepare for SAT. There are many branches or subjects that you can choose in your degree. Firstly decide which field of Science is your preference. If you're not able to make a decision, then you are invited to take help of me or any experienced person.

If you don't want to do engineering, then there is no problem. You can go in research field without doing engineering also, go for pursuing B.Sc and then go for M.Sc Degree from some reputed institute, then you can easily go for research field.
