I am interested to appear for the cat entrance exam and if i get a rank in entrance exam would i be able to get a seat in the IIM?

IIM CAT 2013 will be for 13 IIMs in India and the same score will be accepted by many institutes for their management programme in india. but apart from CAT score all institutes including IIMs has additional process to be completed before admission.
