I am interested to run my own medical store after my studies, my father has planned B.Pharma for me from LPU, Will it be helpful for me.

I must say, listen to your father. In today world, this is the best plan in the field of medical. Also, selecting LPU as your university for higher studies is a good decision. As LPU ranked 23th in pharmacy by NIRF. LPU is approved by PCI. Curriculum is designed in such a way that, student achieve skills to work in industry, clinical set ups, drug control organizations, education and research sectors in pharmaceuticals. Also, LPU provide excellent placement to their student in well-renowned firms. To prepare their student LPU have their own placement classes.

A competent person could be any one of the following: A person who is a graduate and has one year of experience in selling drugs. A person who is a registered pharmacist. A person who has a degree in SSLC and has experience of 4 years in dealing drugs can open his store. B.Pharma. Is an undergraduate four years course (approved by PCI) which is a prerequisite for registration to practice as a pharmacist. The eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English Physics Chemistry and Biology or Maths or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST Apart from imparting theoretical knowledge, the university also aims at cementing the practical side of the course. LPU provides a well-structured four years programme that is approved by PCI (pre-requisite for registration to practice as a pharmacist). It prepares students to work in the industry, clinical setups, drug control organizations, education, and research sectors in pharmaceuticals. The curriculum is always updated with industrial demands and challenges. LPU has added some elective courses like Advanced Instrumentation techniques, Cell & Molecular Biology Computer-Aided Drug Design, Cosmetic Science, Dietary Supplements and Nutraceuticals, Experimental Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Regulatory Science, Pharmacovigilance, Remedial Biology etc. Are also offered in the curriculum.
