I am intrested in public relations and mass media courses in new zealand but confused with the course and university to opt for.

I am a B.Sc(Computer Science) graduate in may 2011 but due to my intrests in mass media and public relations i want to go for this field and make my career in this stream.I had good communication skills.Please guide me for the courses that would be suitable and the best university to opt for.

A good course in PR and at least 1 year work experience under your belt after your graduation, will help immensely in securing a good college and even scholarships abroad. Hi Sneha, I agree with Kankshi. As you have no background in PR/mass comm, getting admission and a visa to NZ will be very difficult. I recommend that you take up a course /job in the field of PR/mass comm in India before applying for admissions in NZ. Alternatively, apply for a PG level course in

HI Sneha, Auckland University of Technology and WAikato University offer courses at PG level in Public relations. But to pursue a course in a field in which you have no formal qualification can be difficult. So I suggest that you either take up some short term course before you go abroad for studies
