i am intrested in pursuing course in cyber law through IMT, do i need to have prior knowledge about indian law beforehand

I am looking to pursue this course of cyber law which is of 2 years duration and it is in associating with NLU ,lucknow. please advise if i need to have a prior qualification/knowledge about cyber security or soft engineering. what are the benefits and scope of job after the course
